Winter is here. Luckily here in the Northwest our weather stays relatively warm, but this year our weather is a bit colder than most years and we have snow and ice in the forecast.
Owners need to pay attention to a couple of things when it comes to walking their pups during the winter months.
Paws can stick to the ice. Paws are rough, but sometimes they will stick to the ice. This can cause irritation and cracking. There are numerous dog paw balms that can be applied prior to going outside.
