Truffles

American Pit Bull Terrier, 2-5 years old, 66 pounds

Playful pit bull seeking human with passion for food, walks, and playtime

Truffles is looking for an owner who shares his passion for the simple joys in life! For this lovable pit bull, that means food, walks, and playtime. Truffles is a breeze to walk on a leash, though he can show off his strength if something catches his eye. With a keen appetite, Truffles is highly motivated by food – "sit" is a command he's mastered, especially when treats are in play. This playful pup is also captivated by toys, and he's quick to pick up anything from wooden sticks to food containers during his walks. Truffles’ curiosity doesn't end there; he's equally intrigued by people and other dogs, showing his sociable side. Truffles is a truly good boy, making every moment a delightful adventure.

Best yet, Seattle Animal Shelter has waived Truffles' adoption fee, so Seattle residents will only pay the city's $74 pet licensing fee to bring this good boy home. If you’d like to meet Truffles, drop by the Seattle Animal Shelter during open hours from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. daily to say hello! (Note: Mondays and Fridays are by appointment only).

Biscuit

Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix, 7 years old, 66 pounds

Devoted dog seeking human companion for leisurely walks on the beach

Biscuit is seeking an owner who enjoys leisurely walks and lazy mornings, because this laidback girl enjoys nothing more than a morning lie-in followed by a casual stroll (ideally with sniffs along the beach). Biscuit also has a penchant for sticks, transforming into a whirlwind of energy with the discovery of a particularly splendid one! Car rides are another of Biscuit's joys; she sits serenely, gazing out the window, content with the world passing by. She treasures her independence yet forms a deep, devoted connection with a special someone, choosing to orbit her universe around them. Biscuit's ideal owner will remember to respect her space and understand her signals. She communicates her comfort levels clearly and hopes for an understanding human who will heed her cues.

Seattle Animal Shelter has also waived Biscuit's adoption fee, meaning Seattle residents only have to pay the city's $74 pet licensing fee to bring this good girl home. If you’d like to meet Biscuit, drop by the Seattle Animal Shelter during open hours Tuesday-Thursday from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. daily to say hello! (Note: Mondays and Fridays are by appointment only).
